Pan American Firearms Scanning App
Beginning 20 August 2026, our Pan American Airport Team will welcome all competitors in the VIP area of the luggage arrivals hall at Queen Beatrix International Airport, next to the Aruba Customs Office.
To ensure secure and efficient firearms handling throughout the Pan American Championship, the following procedures apply:
1. Firearms Shooter ID Card Upon arrival, you will receive your Firearms Shooter ID Card, containing a unique QR code linked to your name, shooter number, squad number, and registered firearms.
- This QR code is used by our team within the Pan American Firearms Scanning App to check in your firearm at the airport, during secured transport to the range, and upon arrival at the secured storage facility.
2. Firearm Case Tagging
Your firearm case will be tagged with your name, shooter number, and squad number, matching the QR code on your ID card. This ensures accurate identification and smooth storage throughout the event.
Match‑Day Firearm Procedures
On match days, your Firearms Shooter ID Card is required to release and return your firearm at the secured weapons storage facility at the range.
- Present your card to receive your firearm before shooting.
- Return your firearm to secured storage at the end of each match day.
- Firearms will only be released with the Shooter ID Card – please carry it with you at all times.
These procedures maintain a strict chain‑of‑custody through the Pan American Firearms Scanning App and ensure full compliance with Aruban law enforcement regulations. Firearms are not permitted to leave the range at any time.
