Aruba ED Card – Mandatory Entry Requirement
All travelers to Aruba are required to complete the Aruba Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) Card prior to arrival. This digital form is part of Aruba’s immigration process and must be submitted online before your trip to Aruba.
As part of the ED Card procedure, Aruba assesses a $20 sustainability fee per person for all visitors 8 years of age and older. This fee is paid during the online ED Card submission.
Competitors and visitors should complete the ED Card well in advance of travel to ensure smooth entry upon arrival at Queen Beatrix International Airport.

Parking & Shuttle Information
To ensure smooth access to the range during the Pan American Handgun Championship, dedicated parking and shuttle services have been arranged for all competitors, staff, and visitors.
Parking for Competitors Driving Their Own Vehicle or Rental Car All attendees arriving by personal vehicle or rental car must park at Club Universal, the official parking location for the Pan American Handgun Championship. Simply search “Club Universal” on Google Maps to navigate directly to the designated lot. Parking is free, and the area is monitored by on‑site security throughout the day.
On‑Site Security The parking area is monitored throughout the day by event security personnel to ensure a safe environment for all vehicles and guests.
Continuous Shuttle Service Shuttle buses operate daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing continuous transport between Club Universal and the shooting range.
Fast Transfer Time The shuttle ride takes approximately five minutes, offering quick and convenient access to the range.
Return Shuttles Return transportation to the parking area is available throughout the day, with increased frequency at the end of shooting timeslots.
Important Note: Parking and shuttle services are available only for the Main Match and Gun Check on 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 August 2026.

Firearm Permit Information
The Pan American organization has begun uploading firearm permits into ESS for all registered competitors. In accordance with Aruban law, these permits are issued in Dutch. Competitors who require an English or Spanish translation should arrange this independently.
Upon arrival in Aruba, local authorities will have your firearm details and serial numbers on file, ensuring a smooth and efficient clearance process both when entering and departing the country.

Competitors traveling to Aruba must comply with the mandatory firearm handling procedures established by Aruba’s law enforcement authorities.
Under local regulations, competition firearms may not be taken to any residential location, hotel, or other accommodation. Upon arrival at the airport, all firearms must be declared at Customs, tagged, and immediately surrendered to the designated Pan American Championship officials.
After landing, competitors will be guided to the official firearms processing area, where authorities will secure all firearms for the duration of the stay. Firearms will only be released for approved match activities and strictly in accordance with the Pan American Championship protocols on competition days.

Firearm Departure Procedures
On the day of departure, competition firearms will be transported to the airport and placed in the Aruba Customs secured storage area. Competitors must arrive 4.5 hours before their scheduled flight and report directly to the Customs Office at the airport for release of their firearms. After collection, proceed to the airline’s check‑in counter to complete the standard check‑in process with your firearm and luggage.
Match Ammo

IMPORTANT UPDATE JULY 15: Match Organizers are meeting with local officials and will have an update on DUTIES later this week.
Competitors who choose to travel to Aruba with their own ammunition should be aware that import duties apply to all rounds brought into the country. These duties must be paid directly to the Aruba Customs Office, located in the Arrivals Hall of the airport.
To ensure a smooth process, please bring a receipt or proof of purchase for your ammunition, clearly stating the value in U.S. Dollars, as this will be required for the import duty assessment. The amount of import duties is 29% of the total value of the invoice.
Competitors who are not traveling with ammunition may purchase match‑approved ammunition; all match ammunition must be pre‑ordered in advance. Pre‑orders must be submitted using the official Pan American Match Ammo Form, available as a digital form on the IPSC Pan American website, all required fields must be filled and the form will route automatically to the Aruba Practical Shooters Club for processing of your order.
Please note that all match ammunition must be fully prepaid by bank transfer prior to the competition. Ammunition will only be released at the range on match days, to competitors who have submitted the pre‑order form and provided proof of payment.
